CQR offers you an informative Australian bush experience which may be combined with the magical Ningaloo experiences available in Exmouth & Coral Bay.  Share in the knowledge of the working sheep & cattle station past & present. You will learn about the stock & station, land formations, local flora, fauna & indigenous history whilst meandering around the station experiencing this amazing outback environment. Your guide will show you how to distinguish between different animal tracks & even how to use sticks to light a fire to boil the billy.

1/2 Day Outback Tours

The most popular tours are the 1/2 day Outback Tour & the Bullara Sunset Tour. For example photographers usually need a longer tour to get those perfect shots of the wildlife on those days natures is feeling shy.

Details

  • For the 1/2 day Outback Tour Geoff will pick you up from the Shearers Lodge on Bullara at 7:30am & head off to the northern end of the station.
  • On the way you will stop for a guided stroll through the bush, viewing the local birdlife, wildlife & learn about Bullara's environment. It is generally a stark environment (in a beautiful way) but you will see that there is food to be found, plants & trees with medicinal & practical uses abundant once you are shown what to look for.
  • Next you will have morning tea on a spectacular part of the station on the Exmouth Gulf with a superb view & an opportunity to see the migratory shorebirds & marine life on the tide line.
  • On the return trip back to the homestead you are welcome to stop for any photos of wildlife or station scenery then the tour will conclude back at the Shearers Lodge.

Bullara Sunset Tour

  • The Bullara Sunset Tour offered by CQR Exclusive Station Tours allows visitors to appreciate Bullara Station while relaxing with a complimentary beverage & appetizers.
  • You will be driven to a magical little spot where you can enjoy the sun setting & the bird life that come into that particular area during dusk.
  • The sunset reflecting on the red sandunes really does make for a beautiful & peaceful end to the day.
  • The tour lasts approx. 1 1/2hours, after which you will be taken back to the Shearers Lodge. You may conclude your day around the campfire and see how amazing the night sky is when viewed away from the lights of civilization.
  • Geoff may even entertain you around the campfire showing you how not to get lost using the stars, how Aboriginals can tell if it will be a hot summer, or even how to play the didgeridoo! It is always a memorable experience.
