Bullara Station Stay is perfectly located between Coral Bay and Exmouth in the Coral Coast region of WA. We offer a range of accommodation from two fully self-contained cottages, stylishly renovated “shearers lodge”, air-conditioned ensuited king single rooms @ the Outcamp, as well as a fabulous campground in a spacious bush setting, suitable for caravan and camping. And, yes we are 2 wheel drive accessible!
Relax and unwind away from the stresses of everyday, enjoy life on a working cattle station and experience rural Australia at its best. We love our coffee and are excited about the recent addition of providing fresh WA roasted coffee and scones daily at the homestead.
Edwina and Tim welcome you to experience our unique accommodation and campground. Discover the wonders and rawness of the Australian outback one day and be dipping your toes in the soothing aqua marine of the coral coast the next. All the main attractions of the Cape Range National Park and the Ningaloo area are an easy drive from the property. You can spend the morning snorkelling in Coral Bay, head home for a fresh shower and then laze in a hammock before unwinding around the fire pit in the evening.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN........
With declining wool prices and the need to diversify from running only livestock we started off our tourism venture with a revamp of the old shearers quarters in 2008. From there the demand for camping facilities and more accommodation grew, each year we have slowly expanded our business. We have big plans for the station, it is exciting to see it evolve…who knows what’s around the corner but we are thrilled by the possibilities! We thank you – our guests for supporting us on this journey, without you this would not be evolving! We feel very privileged to be located on the doorstep to one of the best stretches of beach in the world, sharing a slice of life on a working Aussie cattle property is also important to teach people about positive and sustainable farming for the future.
Our accommodation and camping opens around Easter time or the 1st April and closes at the end of October during which the climate ranges from low 20 degrees to high 30 degrees, depending on seasonal rains and the unpredictability of Mother Nature!
During good winter seasons we can experience spectacular carpets of wildflowers, the flora and fauna transforms into an oasis from this mostly stark but still beautiful countryside. If you are a keen bird watcher there is a huge variety of bird life to be appreciated.
We are also surrounded by an abundance of local wildlife not forgetting the pet lamb’s kangaroos and cows to keep the kids amused!
